In the highly unlikely event that a Holm manufactured filter fails within the first twelve months due to a manufacturing fault, Holm will not only supply a replacement part, but will cover all associated costs of restoring the vehicle back to the condition it was in before the failure.

You can be confident that Holm filters have been designed specifically for your engines and equipment and if you change the filters according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, the use of Holm filters will not invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty. 

 

EUROPEAN BLOCK EXEMPTION 

The EC Block Exemption Regulation (BER) gives owners of vehicles and construction equipment the flexibility to select where they can get their vehicles serviced.  It also effectively allows for a Holm Filter, manufactured to the specification as set out by the Original Equipment Manufacturer, to be used without affecting the OEM warranty.  The BER also covers service and maintenance during the warranty period. 

 

The Holm Filter Guarantee:

  • Warrants against failure due to defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 12 months from the date of installation by the original end-user, as specified under the Terms and Conditions for the product.
  • Covers replacing the failed product, If the Holm filter failure is the sole and direct cause of damage to the equipment on which the product was properly installed, Holm will reimburse reasonable costs to restore the equipment to the condition it was in immediately before the failure.
  • Does not cover failure due to misapplication, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper service practices or non-Holm approved modifications.
  • Engine and equipment manufacturers’ warranties remain in effect when Holm products are used.
  • Warranty applies to Holm manufactured filters only and not other brands supplied
  • Holm must be notified in writing of any claims covered by this warranty within one week of the date of failure. Holm, at its discretion, will either physically visit the site where the alleged failure has been found or, request that all parts, the Holm filter(s) and other relevant components, be shipped prepaid to the Holm Office.
