How to cross-refer filters

20th February 2025 Holm Education

"What is this filter?"

"What does it fit?"

The Holm Filters website is designed to make cross-referencing and anything filter-related easy for everyone in the construction and off-highway industry.

Here's a little video to show you how:

01. Find the filter part number on your filter

Here's where you can usually find them:

  • On an air filter, they're usually on the base.
  • Filter Cartridges usually have the part number on the rim.
  • Part numbers on filter cannisters, are usually printed on the side of the tin.
  • In-line filters sometimes have the part number printed on the side. Sometimes they aren't printed with a part number at all.

02. Type the part number into the search box at the top of the Holm Filters website

and don't press enter. Just type it in.

Here's where to find it depending on your device.

03. Scroll down to find the exact match and click on it

Close matches will come up, make sure you've got the right one.

04. You're done.

You'll go through to the product page for the filter you wanted. You can take a look at the product details, add it to your order and find what other machines it will fit by clicking on the compatibility tab.

If the number you've got isn't coming up, give Holm Filters a call or send them a photo of your filter.

They'll cross-refer it for you and get it uploaded for next time.
